Emerald Glen Park Aquatic Center, Dublin, California

Immediately before the start of construction, BSK took over the role of Geotechnical Engineer-of-Record for this project. The aquatic center project included construction of an approximately 31,000-square foot aquatics building, a deck storage building, an outdoor sports pool, an outdoor play pool with a 160-gallon tipping bucket, an indoor pool, pool decks, a water slide tower containing five slides, shade structures, and outdoor amphitheater with seating for 2,000, parking lots, driveways, and a plaza featuring public art. Other improvements included light poles, sign posts, a score board, retaining walls, and bio-detention basins.
